Hannah MulderHannah Mulder - Director

“It’s a fantastic opportunity to work with such talented young people on a piece which requires them to work hard vocally and physically. This story challenges us to create strong images and the abundance of youthful energy will, I think, promise a very exciting evening for our audiences.”

Hannah Mulder is a writer, director, actor and a former singer with FCMG.

She studied at Edinburgh University and Edinburgh College of Art (MA Fine Art) and went on to a postgraduate at Oxford School of Drama (Acting).

Her acting credits include: The Man in the Red Scarf (Barbican, Plymouth), Uncharted Waters (Theatre Royal, Barbican, Roland Levinski, Plymouth for Hidden City Festival), Our Beautiful Reality (Caf Culture for Hidden City Festival), Sea/Worthy (Site specific for Hidden City festival) Pretend Families (Spare Tyre Theatre Company); A small, beautiful world (Small Pond Theatre Company); member of Tarte Noire, a women’s Playback Theatre company performing throughout the South West.

Her writing credits include: and the little one said for PLAYlist (Theatre 503), First Flush (Script in hand extracts at The Big Read, Exeter Northcott), Voyage (Barbican Theatre – devised with young people’s dance/theatre company), One Small Step, One Giant Leap (Barbican Theatre with Plymouth Summer Festival, devised with young people’s dance/theatre company at Royal William Yard, Plymouth), Shadow writer for Hidden City Festival, Plymouth.

She has directed three previous staged musical performances for FCMG: Kiss Me Kate (2007), Gondoliers (2008) and Orpheus in the Underworld (2009).

Hannah is an associate artist of Part Exchange Theatre Company and has also facilitated a wide range of performance and acting workshops and projects with Barbican Theatre Plymouth, Theatre Royal Plymouth, West Country Theatre Company, Bigfoot Arts Education as well as her own project Transition Tales.

 

nat tarabnat tarrab - Assistant Director

Trained at St.Martin's College and Middlesex University, nat tarrab has worked in all areas of theatre for the past 15 years, most recently focusing on writing, performing and directing her own work for the performance company Mars.tarrab in collaboration with live artist Rachel Mars. She also works as a visual artist.

Although this is nat's first association with FCMG, she has worked with Hannah on previous projects at The Barbican Theatre, Plymouth.
